As a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, my approach to care is tailored to each individual, taking into account their unique needs and preferences. I incorporate evidence-based research to ensure the effectiveness and safety of interventions. Additionally, I adopt an integrative lens, drawing upon various therapeutic modalities and holistic perspectives to promote comprehensive well-being.
I fuse the ancient wisdom and time-tested practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which spans thousands of years of tradition, with contemporary technologies and methodologies. By blending these rich traditions with modern practices, I strive to offer patients a comprehensive approach to health and wellness that honors both the wisdom of the past and the research and advancements of the present.
is within my scope of practice as a licensed acupuncturist. That said, I chose to complete additional advanced training for this service. This advanced, comprehensive, in-depth certification program was a blend of theory and practice with functional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine as applied to facial anatomy and pathophysiology, aging, facial changes, and aesthetics. The certificate in Facial Applications for Cosmetic Enhancement (F.A.C.E.) included intensive clinical mentorship & training with internationally renowned leaders in the cosmetic acupuncture industry. In addition, as part of this extensive training, I completed and presented a 10-week patient case study.
Through my doctoral program I furthered my connection to an integrative style. My research concentrated on the impact of stress on professionals, (particularly for health care practitioners) as well as on evidence-based interventions and strategies that help promote professional resilience and wellness.
